P.A.D.L.O.C.K (birth name: Humphrey Ayernor Jnr.) was born in Accra, Ghana. 4th October 1988.
Raised in MADINA, a suburb in the city - under strict parenting, Humphrey grew up to be a good boy He went through elementary school then the family moving to Haatso West lands, another suburb in the city where very skilled GH MC's like Mythman, Jay pee,Rza, Aython, Rapathologist inspired the young chap to rap.
THE COME-UP
Coming up,Padlock aka Security Padlock listened to Eminem, Dr.Dre, Nas, Jay-Z, the D.P.G, 50 cent and a lot of Western Rappers.Whiles in junior high,he started rapping for fun with his school mates under aliases like DaRhyme, Jeda Bone at age 12. He had dreams of becoming a superstar one day. Graduating to Pope John Senior High School and Minor Seminary, he was given the name PADLOCK aka P.Gravy , which started to blow up with the fame. He took to battle rap and killed a lot of competing rappers for fun.For what he was doing, he was given the awarded for song of the year with the hit single which had a local buzz
THE PROJECT
P.A.D the self proclaimed Coffee Man has recorded and featured over 150 songs, hits and soundtracks and still counting. He was one of the leading contestants in the Sprite EMCEE Africa in Ghana broadcasted on cable networks Channel O & DSTV ,all over the world with a maximum of about 8million views . He has dreams of building a rap empire so he formed the group ILL GUTTERS, signed to his CAPTURE CITY Records.
Security Padlock(19) is now recording his first LP, 100% PROGRESS with hit singles like "WATCH YOUR BACK" & " WOYE JON". With beats and mixing production from famous and renowned engineers like Jay-So, Kevin Beatz(Crime Records ), E.L, Jamal and Buddha...
ILL GUTTERS (I.G) is also in the booth with almost the same producers finishing their mix-tape, PLATINUM PLUS Vol.1. with hit singles "WE DA BIZNESS".
