A Rising Talent - DRILICKXS

Delivered Ntelabi Bukari Augustin at Saboba in the Northern part of Ghana, he moved down to Sakumono- a suburb of Accra, with his family. At age 9 he started miming, imitating & copyrighting and after sometime he realized he had to start doing his own stuff, with a few punch rhymes he started phone recording on polyphonic tones and then came out with a couple of demos.Currently he's schooling but is signed onto Nu Afrika Records with Ball J.
This versatile rapper has since his birth, been a competition to fellow rappers in his league. He has been to a number of competitions, and the most notable of them all is the maiden edition of 'Music Mania' which took place at the National Theater last year December. He proved not to be only a rapper, but a singer too.
He currently holds a mix tape to his credit with other on-point rappers and singers alike. The 'SOLUTION' mix-tape features Killmatic of Duncwills Entertainment, Mushroom and Koncept. Also passing through on the mix-tape was Boy Nash. The 13 track album has songs like Borga, Shuperu, Swagg for Sale and more. He also has track covers for some exotic tunes, with likes of 'Downtown Freestyle- Nikki Grier Cover'.
To prove his efforts he got on one with Jeff Darko, a UK based Singer/Song Writer/Actor, that he captioned 'Fast Cars'.
Presently, he is mostly in the studio sleeping, eating, breathing and talking music!
Drilickxs is one whole unit of music, he has got a style that Ghana has not seen yet. The rapper believes in the theme ' I AM GH RAP' which looks to putting his beloved country on the map. There is more to come from him than we expect such a young gem to provide. Be on the look out.

  2. Okay i couldn't resist but come back to comment again. In journalism, blogging and everything of such nature, you should make sure your English is on point. When you are done writing, proofread to make sure everything is right before you post. We are all human and once in a while little errors might slip through. However, to have a full article packed with errors from the first letter to the last means you should sit up and check your work. - NANA KWEKU SEKYI ABDALLAH (QWEIKS)

  5. many people call him drilickx, but not only do i know him on a personal page,i also take him to be my mentor and main motivation every time i pick up ma pen and pad to write down my lyrics,so i call him by his birth name,'ntelabi',even though i do a totally different form of music from what he dose, most of the words in ma first few songs where either taken or motivated by a song of his that i heard at that point in time, let me not forget to stress that ntelabi is my musical god,i know he is going to go far so i have made him ma marking scheme, ntelabi, am watching you,one day small boy go turn master, abi u know say me di33 i gat ur bak?
