Earlier this year when Sarkodie dropped "Am In Love With You" with Efya, speculations blew up, insinuating that the two have something intimate going on behind covers and have decided to channel it into their music.
Their song got the love of all music lovers and was played all over the airways. It is still enjoying popularity among fans and still receiving massive airplay.
Both artiste have enjoyed a marvelous year, sailing through flawlessly.
Sarkodie has had a great tour of the U.S.A., doing almost 20 states. Coming back home about a month ago, he was welcomed with a huge 'Welcome Home' party. The rapper also took two major awards at the just ended Vodafone 4SYTE Music Video Awards, sharing a third with R2Bees and Nana Boro as a collaboration award. Currently, he is on the Azonto tour in the U.K
Efya, on the other hand, also enjoyed a good year. She notched the awards Female Vocalist of the year at the Ghana Music Awards in May and the Best Ghanaian Female Musician of the Year at the City People Entertainment Awards in August. She was billed as one of the acts for the RED LIPSTICKS Concert held last month. Efya was not left out of the performances when Hugh Masakela, Legendary South African Trumpeter, visited Ghana a few weeks ago.
Sarkodie and Efya, are two massive talents at Ghana's disposal at the moment. The two are so good at what they do that, all their tunes seem to be at perfection.
In 'where did i go wrong', Sarkodie expresses disappointment at what the love of his life decides to do to him. After taking care of all her financial needs when she had no one to turn to, paying her school fees, paiying for her flight tickets, buying her the most expensive of all jewels, getting her one of the most expensive cars and even buying her a house - draining him eventually of all he's got, she finally decides to say goodbye to him when he even chose to be with her over his family. A heartbreak it is to him, so much that he has cried till the point of loosing his voice. Obidi goes on to remind her of all the promises she made to him. Efya comes in to sing, saying that there's nothing more to do than just say cry and say goodbye too.
This is a masterpiece, a showcase of great musical prowess, dexterity and versatility. This is Creativity at its peak.
