FIRST EVER GHANA FASHION AWARDS TO TAKE OFF WITH NOMINATIONS LIST RELEASED!

On 9th December, Fashion Expo will be hosting the first ever Ghana Fashion Awards at the M-PLAZA Hotel in Accra.

Fashion Expo, the organizers, have said that the awards scheme is to celebrate and boost the morale of the Ghanaian Fashion industry stakeholders, trusting that it will become an annual affiar and will be accepted and given the necessary support next year.

The awards committee rep said, "We organize Ghana fashion awards not only to award and recognize creative and innovative people but also to encourage up and coming fashion designers to bring fun and life into the fashion industry in Ghana. We provide a networking forum for all these designers to network and share ideas that would promote their business." With the mission - "To create fashion entrepreneurs and reward creative, talented and innovative fashion designers and companies in the fashion industry in Ghana".

All is set to go on the night of 9th December with the nominations list released and the following categories are to be hustled for :

 Popular Make-up Brand, Best Designer of the Year, Emerging Designer of the Year, Make-up Artist of the Year, Contributions to Fashion Photography, Model of the Year, Contributions to Fashion Communication and Media, Most Outstanding Fashion Contributor and Best Accessories designer amongst others.
