It looks like the rap machine - Sarkodie has decided to begin his new year in style. Already dropping his new video Saa Okodie No ft Obrafour on New Year's day, he has - just in a matter of days, dropped another.
Sarkodie seems to be aiming at satisfying his fans with whatever he does this year. Obobi was a summer hit track that he released last year, just after he finished with the USA tour. It fast became a fans favorite, for its hip-hop beat.
The video itself is strictly hip-hop by concept, and with this it can be noticed the transformation Sarkodie is manifesting onto the Ghanaian hip-hop scene with the local dialect. Winning the awards for Best Hip-Hop video at the last Vodafone 4SYTE Music Video Awards, the rapper seems to be eying the same nod this year.
Obobi's video was released on 8th January at 11pm. A Frameworks Studios production.
